Fodie Maguiraga
Associate Public Health Advisor

Fodié Maguiraga holds the position of Associate Public Health Advisor at the NTD-SC Task Force for Global Health (TFGH). He holds a Master in Public Health (MPH), a certificate in Maternal and Child Health (MCH) and a certificate in project management from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. He also earned a Masters in Socio-anthropology (University of Mali) and a gender Integration training certificate from Stanford University. Fodie has over 15 years of experience in working low and middle income countries and collaborating with international NGOs and donors including Save the Children, CARE USA, The Institute for Reproductive Health (IRH), Family Health International (FHI360), International Rescue Committee (IRC), Africa Practice/Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), Vital Wave, World Bank, Interpeace, Internews and USAID.
Possessing a strong background in qualitative research, Fodié embraces several public health thematics including maternal and child health, Immunization (EPI, Covid-19), nutrition, malaria and childhood illnesses, family planning, tuberculosis, abortion, food security, and gender. Fluent in French and English, he served in several countries across West and Central Africa (Mali, Burkina Faso, Benin, Niger, DRC, Congo, Chad) providing technical support to the ministries of health.
